Build a crochet chart by hand — drag in stitches, repeat and shape them with the toolbar, then tag your rows to generate the written pattern.

Dup ← ↑ ↓ →	Duplicate the selection N times in a direction (you're prompted for the count) — lay a whole repeat in one action.
▦ Array	Fill a grid: duplicate the selection across columns × rows in one step (e.g. type `5x3`).
◎ Radial	Repeat the selection in a circle — enter a count, then click the centre point. For working in the round (mandalas, fans).
↻ Again	Repeat your last move as a new copy (Ctrl/Cmd+D). Nudge one copy, then tap Again to march copies along.
⌜ Arc	Select a line (or several stacked rows) of stitches and bend them along a smooth curve — drag the green handle, Enter to apply.
↔ Spread	Space the selected stitches evenly. Enter a gap in grid cells for an exact, repeatable spread, or leave blank to fit the current span.
⇆ Flip H / ⇅ Flip V	Mirror the selection left–right or top–bottom.
⊟ Align	Align the selection's edges/centres, or distribute it evenly (popover).
Colour swatches	Recolour selected stitches (for colourwork/tapestry). With nothing selected, sets the colour for new stitches.
▦ Grid	Darken or lighten the grid lines (Faint → Light → Med → Dark → Darker).

ch	Chain — the foundation of all crochet. Oval symbol.
sl st	Slip stitch — joins rounds, creates firm edges. Filled dot.
sc	Single crochet — tight, dense stitch. X cross symbol.
hdc / dc / tr	Taller stitches with more yarn-overs. T-shape with diagonal tick marks (1 tick = dc, 2 = tr, etc.).
skip	Marks a stitch position that is intentionally skipped. Used in shell and lace patterns to show correct spacing. Renders as a dashed square so it's visible but clearly "empty."
bobble	Multiple incomplete DCs worked in the same stitch, drawn together at the top — creates a firm raised bump.
popcorn	Multiple complete DCs in the same stitch; the first DC is folded over the others — creates a more prominent raised pop than a bobble.
puff	Multiple (yarn-over, pull up a loop) in the same stitch, all joined at the top — a softer, rounder texture than bobble.
FPdc / BPdc	Front / Back post DC — hook wraps around the post (stem) of the stitch below. Creates ribbing and texture.
Shell (3dc / 5dc / 7dc)	Multiple DCs worked into the same stitch, fanning out. Classic scalloped/shell texture.
tc-1 to tc-4	Turning chains — the chains at the start of a row that bring the yarn up to the height of the first stitch.
